After 2 Games On Manual

And I am relatively happy to be fair with the different controls, although there are obvious advantages and dis-advantages.
So I will start off with the good points in my opinion.
Cross field balls. How you can make them land pin-point to feet and open up the game in an instance by making them go where you want them to.
Fluent. How fluid the build up play is, passing to feet and creating chances by making the ball go slightly infront of your player, making the killer pass and splitting the team your playing against wide open.
Through balls. How they can land perfectly in front of the striker ahead who your aiming for, just lifting it over the defenders reach.
Negative points so far:
Annoying simple passes which don't go where you intend but hey I will get it soon.
Shooting. Difficult to get used to
Power, too hard or too soft and getting the balance right is hard.
Overall I am finding it more challenging yet a lot lot more fun because as I read. It is your pass, your shot and your goal. Your build up play. Everything is done by you and not by computer which makes my 1 goal out of the two games better than the 3 I conceded.
Anyone who is scared of making the switch or think it isnt worth it take it from me, it is. Aswell anyone who wants to have a game on manual with me who is just getting to grips PM me and I will give you a game :)|||Keep going and good luck!
I tried to make the switch several times but like you said, the frustration from getting even the simplest of passes wrong prevailed over the fun so I had to switch back.
Currently I play with passes on Semi, Shooting on Semi, Lob pass on Manual, Through Ball on Assisted.|||Yeh stick with it mate, I converted back on fifa 10 and have never gone back.
Once you get the hang of manual it is a joy to behold, playing assisted now feels like a very lazy, thoughtless 12 minutes.|||Cheers Lads :)|||

What level do you play on?
How long did it take you to master the controls?
